The desperate need for changing the perception concerning poverty

Though this particular argument is, in equal parts, blatant and baseless, the mental impact it has on the people belonging to this section is undeniable. Ø People argue that there are programs in place to aid the destitute with their misery. But how much of it is having an impact? Thanks to the corruption lurking among the ranks of both NGOs and government organizations, the jury is still out on deciding a verdict for the question.
